Alpha-Domus winery was established by two generations of the Ham family. Their vineyard lies in the renowned Bridge Pa Triangle Wine District of Hawke's Bay. From these soils they produce premium quality wines that are true to varietal character and are a reflection of their unique terroir.
Alpha-Domus has a long term love affair with sweet wine making. This one is affectionately named for Alpha-Domus co-founder Leonarda Maria Ham.
Made predominantly from semillon, with a dash of botrytis viognier, Leonarda has aromas of honeysuckle, dried rose petals and lime. The luscious palate or orange blossom, apricot and honey flavours are completed by a zesty citrus finish.
Ideal as an aperitif or to complete your evening.
