Italy's Birra Moretti has had a long history of quality since 1859.
The man on the label, rather than being the founder, was just a local man, enjoying a beer in the sunshine outside a local trattoria one day in 1942. Mr Moretti went up to him and asked if he could take a picture of him. When the man was asked what he wanted in return, the only thing he asked for was another Moretti beer. Since that day the image of that man is on every single Moretti label, reminding us "where we come from and who we brew our beer for."
This bottom fermented lager is refreshingly light and crisp. After fermentation the alcohol is removed using a vacuum evaporation technique, making this a perfect choice for those times you want to crack a cold one without worrying who's driving home.
