An exciting wine from the vineyards in the Alenquer & Cadaval regions, of the mountains to the north of Lisbon, Portugal.
With it's ruby red colour, warm flavours of jammy forest fruit combined with aromas of violets and touches of spice come through nicely.
In the palate it's supple with texture and length in the end of mouth. It is very refreshing and vibrant with smooth tannins and, more importantly, it is great value.
Fun fact - The label is an original painting by Hauke Vagt, a rather eccentric German painter who spends his summers with the tourists on the streets in Lisbon.
An iconic image from Lisbon on a great wine. Best enjoyed with friends.
