Grown on the Gimblett Gravels in Hawke’s Bay and matured in French oak barrels, this fine VS Merlot is rich and complex whilst showing balance and softness.
The nose is fresh and vibrant with elegantly concentrated aromas of redcurrants and dark red plum fruit, entwined with subtle notes of dark herbs and a suggestion of iron earth elements.
Medium-full bodied, the palate has bright and lively fruit flavours of dark red berries, redcurrants and plums, along with dark herbs.
