Cumulus Wines own and manage one of the biggest single vineyards in New South Wales, so big that it stretches from the Orange wine region all the way into the Central Ranges. Because of this they can source grapes from a variety of different sub-regions, terroirs, and climates, making the wines that come out of the area multifaceted and wide ranging.
This wine has dark berry fruits with choc mint and a classic hint of cool climate leafiness.
A full bodied and elegantly structured wine showing varietal cabernet characters of blackcurrants and plums. Savoury chewy tannins form the backbone of the palate ensuring good flavour, persistence and length.
