Kelly Washington wines are a collaboration of Simon Kelly and winemaker Tamra Washington, who source grapes from around Marlborough and other wine regions, looking for organic and bio dynamically grown grapes.
This pinot blanc ticks both of those boxes and is made from grapes grown on a vineyard in the Rapaura sub region of Marlborough on soil types, which contribute a range of flavours to the finished wine.
All grapes were handpicked, whole bunch pressed, naturally fermented then matured in old oak for 10 months.
Not your usual new world pinot blanc, the wine is powerful, rich and delicious. Hugely savoury and showing notes of ripe autumnal fruits and white flowers.
