Charismatic founder Tim Turvey was not to be discouraged when told the site at Te Awanga in Hawkes Bay was too cold to grow grapes. He went ahead and planted anyway, and 25 years on, we're glad he did.
Happy to plant a wide range of grape varieties, and to experiment with techniques in the winery, Clearview make wines worth hunting down.
A gorgeous release from the team at Clearview Estate. Sweetly fragrant on the nose showing dark plum, raspeberry, vanilla and warm spice notes. A succulent and glug-able palate, complemented by juicy bright fruits and a fine texture.
