Bathtub gin is a generic term for a bootleg, homemade spirit, though there haven't been any corners cut in this sensational, beautifully crafted boutique gin from the very talented Ableforth's distillery in the U.K.
Exotic botanicals include juniper, cinnamon, coriander, cardamom, orange peel and clove, which are then added gently to the highest quality copper pot still spirit using an old fashioned method called cold compounding.
The rare Sri Lankan cinnamon used here has imbued this gin with a subtle copper gold colour and luscious mouthfeel.
