Garage Project is an independent New Zealand brewery based in Aro Valley, Wellington.
The brewery was founded in 2011 by 3 friends who transformed a dilapidated car garage and began by brewing 50 litres at a time, producing 24 beers in 24 weeks, a true micro brewery.
Garage Project's aim is to create unique and beautiful beers, to push boundaries, reinterpret styles and challenge the notions of what beer can be. To date the brewery has created over 300 different beers, some of their brews selling out in a matter of days!
Hapi, the Maori word for hop, inspires this truly Pacific pale ale.
Brewed with New Zealand barley and the best of the Kiwi hop harvest, Motueka, Wai-iti, Riwaka and Nelson Sauvin.
Sessionble in strength, bright golden in colour and loaded with generous quantities of aromatic New Zealand hops.
Subtle and snappy attributes of lime, pear, grapefruit and apple come forward with a nose that exhibits almost kerosene and diesel notes from the Riwaka dry hop.
Assertively hoppy - exceptionally drinkable. Very friendly indeed.
