A Taittinger treat.
Folies de la Marquetterie is the very first cuvée from Maison Taittinger, founded in 1734.
The grapes are sourced from the vineyard Folies which overlooks the birthplace of the family - the Château de la Marquetterie.
This cuvée unveils a beautiful yellow color, with gold/brown reflections. Bubbles are very pleasant and slightly crazy. The nose offers aromas of peach, citrus fruits and apricot compote enhanced with subtle notes of toasted brioche and vanilla.
The palate is of a great delicacy. It is subtle, structured and fruity, and develops yellow peach aromas. Finishes on concentrated on woody and chalky notes.
Comes with its own shimmering jewel of a gift box.
