The P.S. Marion Tawny is released as part of Rockford's ongoing support of the Paddle Steamer Marion. Every sip of this wine helps to put steam back into the boiler of one of the finest ships that ever plied the waters of the Murray River.
This tawny is a small contribution to the Barossa's great tradition of producing outstanding aged fortified wines.
The many years Rockford allow the wine to age in small oak casks encourages the flavours to slowly concentrate and develop into a rich and luscious traditional Barossa Tawny. This blend has an average age of about fifteen years.
