At 7,200 feet above sea level, surrounded by the spectacular views of the Sierra del Tigre Mountains, you will find La Destilería La Estacada, one of the highest distilleries in the world. In this Noble Land (Tierra Noble), nature’s finest resources and the passion of Tierra Noble’s Master Distiller, Alberto Herrera, converge to create a Grand Cru Tequila.
Reposados and Anejos are tasted meticulously until the best casks that will make this Cristalino unique are found.
This selection of Anejos and Reposados then leave those casks where they reached character and maturity to be distilled for a third time and in doing so, polish the notes and tastes to perfection, taking care of their exquisite identity in every detail.
The barrels are made from 75-year-old American and 150-year-old French white oak, which imprints a softness and aroma to the tequila. The cool, damp climate in the barrel rooms contributes to a gentle aging process, adding character and complexity to the flavors and aromas.
